Ok, This might have been mentioned before so I am sorry for the repeat. I was at Hobby Lobby today and browsing the knitting section (which is a rarety for me as I can not knit). My friend and I were talking about learning the trade when I wandered into a small rack of 18 inch doll clothes! And yes boys and girls they do fit AG's!!! I tried them on Nellie (so it would have to be a newer ag)Every thing fits... though you might have to help a younger child dress the doll. Shoes and accessories!! I ended up picking up a purple evening gown (with gold stars)white gloves with white fur at the end, black paten leather shoes, and a black choker and ever piece fit. Regular retail price was about $10.50 Plus if you go to the hobby lobby web site click on specials, you can print a coupon off for 40% off any one regularly priced item. Picked it up for 6 bucks. Needless to say I'm going back tomorrow for another piece. You can print that 40% off coupon and use it once each day until this saturday (Dec 3rd)

I hope someone else can make good use of this information!

No prob at all. I have a three year old daughter and I have been looking for a collection of outfits that I wouldn't mind getting dirty (etc). I couldn't believe my luck of finding these yesterday while just goofing off.

P.S. They have a really cute faerie ballerina outfit with wings!

    Is it the Springfield stuff?
I've looked at Hobby lobby before for it (I'm thinking of doing a, um, head transplant of my Heidi Ott doll), but haven't had any luck. I'll definitely have to check it out!
I've also been thinking of making a custom Springfield doll, just for kicks. Also, Springfield usually has cheap but relatively nice accesories.

I took a trip down to my HL today... no doll things at all! They had some bear clothes, and some kewpie doll parts but that was it.
They also had some barbie sized wicker chairs.

I bought 2 doll stands for 2.99 each. They fit Kit nicely, Samantha is way to fat to even attempt to get her into it.

Nope, I'll have to take a tape measure out, but Kit is MUCH skinnier than my Samantha. That girl has got some junk in the trunk!

Ok it is NOT with the doll furniture (where you can pick up the doll stands, hats, and bear sweaters) It is with the knitting stuff... most random place to put it... just walk up and down the knitting and crossstich sections it was a small section and it even had doll forms.
